I get asked that question all the time when I talk about my mother's diagnosis. My sister nor I could hardly pronounce it either. But all too quickly we became aware that it was swiftly taking our mother away from us. It's a challenge attempting to wrap your brain around something you just don't understand. How do you handle it when you don't have a choice? Feel guilty? Angry? Have emotional lows? Yes, all of the above.

Emotional rollercoaster is an understatement to what one experiences after a diagnosis is handed down.
